General Motors has announced that it will continue to honour Hummer warranties despite the announced that the maker of off-road vehicles inspired by the HumVee military vehicle is to cease operations. The warranty is for four-years or 100,000km whichever comes first.
The Middle East office has also confirmed that it will continue to provide service and support to current and future Hummer owners for ten years from the date of purchase.
‘We were disappointed that the HUMMER deal couldn’t go through, but now we have to focus on providing our loyal customers with the quality service and parts they have come to expect from us, while we wrap up the business,’ said Fadi Ghosn, GM Middle East Chief Marketing Officer.
