Ever heard of Wald International? No we hadn’t either. But as we live in the ‘Land of the Land Cruiser,’ this creation certainly caught our attention.

The Wald 200 Land Cruiser Sports Line Black Bison Edition, to give it its full names, would be far better described simply as Darth Vader’s Land Cruiser. You can just see him chasing Luke Skywalker across Taooine in this thing – and that pathetic hover car wouldn’t have a chance.

Anyway, I digress. This is the first time the bodykit specialist has worked on a Toyota SUV, but as its been going for 15 years, models they’ve ruined… er… modified include S-Class, CL-Class, C-Class and R-Class Mercs, the Lexus IS-F and the new Nissan GT-R.

Apparently this Land Cruiser was only meant for the Russian market, but they now have plans to distribute in our region. According the Wald, the car is ‘Aggressive, Powerful and has a Muscular Style.’

A new front bumper with integrated fog lamps juts out matched by the new sidesills. The rear bumper incorporates mesh and wraps itself around new mean-looking quad exhausts. Darkened Mahora M11C 20-inch wheels complete the look.

I bet the front skirt and sidesteps do NOTHING for the ground clearance and approach and departure angles on what is already a good enough car. And you know far too much about Star Wars for a man of your age, Shahzad! Reply
