Lotus Esprit buying guide

This one's purely self indulgent I'm afraid. I've always wanted to own an original-shape Lotus Esprit, so found these set of videos on the Discovery Channel fascinating.

Unfortunately they are rather rare here, so there's not a lot of hope. Still having looked at US Ebay, there are quite a few on there for little more than a fistful of dollars. Hmmm... I wonder.
